Vince McMahon DID show up at the RAW house show at Madison Square Garden last night...in a wheelchair with his legs tied and in an upward position. McMahon was bandaged up and had his feet elevated. He did not appear infront of the workers, only in private. The rest of the McMahons, Shane, Stephanie, and Linda, were also at the show. Many were wondering if Vince would show, since he hasn't missed a MSG show in years. Many thought Vince would not attend any WWE shows until he was completely healed and back to his normal shape since he is very picky about how he looks infront of his workers. We're also told Vince was in Stamford last week but we're not sure if he entered through a back door or not.
- Early estimates of the crowd at the RAW MSG show last night are 12,000-14,000 fans, which would make it one of the best MSG shows in awhile. The Batista/Orton vs. Triple H/Flair match is being credited with pulling in a strong walk up.
With Vince McMahon out of the picture due to his injuries, Stephanie McMahon has the most backstage power of anyone right now.
-- The following was posted up on Fozzy’s website today:
"JERICHO IS ON THE AIR!!!!
Chris Jericho has a new radio show on XM radio. The show debuts on Channel 41, Da Boneyard on Sunday, March 6 at 8 pm EST. The Rock Of Jericho will be a weekly show that provides Chris the forum to play whatever he wants and showcase his huge and sometimes ridiculous knowledge of music."
-- Some are worried that Batista’s promo skills may hurt him when getting over with the fans. The situation reminds some of Sting and Godlberg in WCW, how they were really over before they started cutting big promos and people realized that they couldn’t talk as well as others on the mic. Being a man of few words is working right now for Batista, so it will be interesting to see how long WWE keeps it up.
