After their debuts on SmackDown last night, Johnny Nitro, Joey Mercury and Melina's bios have all been added to the SmackDown superstars page at smackdown.wwe.com.
Thanks to Michael for sending this in:
Former WWE worker Gail Kim's website, she wrote, "I’ve been keeping busy and pursuing other things at the same time as wrestling a little bit here and there; for the fans writing to me about a recent "engagement".... please don’t believe everything you read on the internet!" The word at Mania weekend was that Kim, who was with one of the Bashams, had gotten engaged to him (I have heard it was Doug). I even talked to one worker who heard her say she had gotten engaged. In the wrestling world, you never know for sure I guess.
WWE RAW Divas Stacy Keibler, Candice Michelle, and Lita will join Marc and Steve to talk about the new Viva Las Divas DVD and Divas 2005 Magazine on Byte This! next Wednesday. They will also be giving away copies of the DVD and magazine. Byte This! airs Wednesday night at 8 p.m. ET, on WWE.com.
Most of the wrestlers make it an annual tradition to bring their families with them to WrestleMania. Shawn Michaels as well as many other's had their families with them for the weekend in Los Angeles.
-When the Rock stopped by the post WrestleMania party, he and Vince McMahon went over to the side and talked for about 30 minutes.
-Shane McMahon was backstage at WrestleMania helping out with things.
-Hulk Hogan either did not stop by the after party or was only there briefly as no one spotted him there.
Shelton Benjamin won WWE Video Game contest at WrestleMania 21. Kane came in second place. This was the third year in a row that Shelton Benjamin has won.
-Paul Orndorff was openly unhappy at the WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony. He still has alot of animosity towards Hulk Hogan as he moved away from him when offered a hug and also was not seen standing for any of the standing ovations that Hogan received during the event.
-It is well known that WWE Management always felt that Matt Hardy was the least marketable of the Hardy Boys and never envisioned him in a top spot with the company. Pat Patterson, who was backstage at WrestleMania, is another member of WWE Management who was never high on Matt Hardy and always felt the Hardy Boys were a mid-level tag team at best. He also never endorsed any push that was given to Matt Hardy.
Aside from his small circle of friends, Edge has a lot of heat backstage in WWE right now. There remains no “other side of the story” to what Matt Hardy has said in his online commentaries about the incident. "Nobody wants to be seen being friendly with [Edge] because he has so much heat with the boys," says one WWE wrestler.
-- Edge and Lita have been keeping their distance from each other lately. It is unknown whether this is because their relationship is deteriorating or because they are trying to keep a low profile backstage.
-- The SmackDown crew in general is said to be a lot more upset at Edge than most of the RAW crew. This is most likely because they are more “old school” and are more into enforcing locker room rules of conduct.
