backstage heat on EDGE, Triple H's injury, & more

Many people within WWE are saying that since Hardy was released, things are going to be a lot worse for Edge backstage. It is going to make it much more difficult for Edge to be forgiven, since Hardy was largely well liked backstage. The assumption in the locker room is that Hardy would still have a job if not for Edge getting involved with Lita.

-- WWE continues to confiscate any signs brought by fans that refer to the Hardy-Lita-Edge situation. However, on the last edition of RAW a sign predominantly made it on the broadcase, saying “We will miss you Matt Hardy”.

-- Matt’s state of mind has been described as “badly wounded and vengeful” as a result of everything.

Triple H's neck injury is something to be concerned about in the future but he will be able to work RAW Monday against Jim Ross.

Chris Jericho’s band Fozzy are also appearing at the Pops Nite Club (1403 Mississippi Avenue, Sauget, IL) on Monday June 6 and at the BB Kings (243 West 42nd St. New York City) on Monday July 11.

Indian Television is reporting out of Mumbai that WWE has announced Jim Brown as its Operation Director for WWE Enterprise. Brown will report to senior VP Tom Barreca in the rollout and provisioning of WWE 24/7.

MTV has a brief note on their website about John Cena and his upcoming CD. It also notes Cena is in The Marine.

IGN has posted a review of the new Blade Trinity DVD that has come out. Interesting to note that the DVD as a whole was given a 4 out of 10 while the DVD features was given a 10/10. I thought it was the spinning leg drop too.

This is what Impact had to say.

We believe the Triple H neck injury occurred when Rosey went for a leg drop and landed hard on Triple H's neck and face. As we noted earlier, he re aggravated the injury when he came back out for the closing segment of the show. As soon as he got behind the curtains where the gorilla position is, he collapsed and had to be helped to his feet.
