I was over at Mercy Drive website and this is the band that Randy Orton theme music "Burn In My Light". Mercy Drive just released their new CD and made this statement:
A huge thank you goes out to everyone who's picked up the new record. We are so overwhelmed by response we've gotten over these songs. We know a lot of you are interested in the release of Burn In My Light. Unfortunately at this time, BIML is on lockdown by the WWE. We wish more than anything that we could release the full song to you guys but for now, The WWE has full control over the release of the song. We will definitely keep you up to date on the progress on its release. Peace!
Corey, Jake & Jimmy
In other WWE news, next weekend in the Atlanta area Saturday, May 28, 2005 Lita & Eugene will be appearing at BrandsMart USA located at 4060 Motors Industrial Way in Atlanta, GA from 1-3 p.m.

In a great article over at TSN.ca/wrestling. Both Christian and Victoria were two of many celebrities that accompanied over 270 disadvantage children in a 21 hour roundtrip from Toronto to Walt Disney World in Orlando. The trip, called Dreams Take Flight, is basically a day trip where the kids take private jets and have a party with the celebrities. In recent years, WWE stars such as Benoit, Edge, Trish and Val Venis have all done the trip. A funny note was how they ended off the article, with Christian in character saying, "I formed friendships with all the kids," he said with his trademark smirk. ”Actually, next year I think they may call it Peeps Take Flight."
John Cena's debut CD, "You Can't See Me", will go on general release in the UK on June 13 - around a month after it's release in the US. On a semi-related note: Amazon.co.uk are importing the CD and selling it for around £15; HMV are doing the same, but are asking £22 for the same disk. The CD will cost around £15 when it's released "properly" in the UK.
Thanks to Kevin Mullins for the following:
Chris Jericho of Fozzy/WWE fame has just been confirmed as a special guest at Beyond The Mountain. He will be introducing a few of the bands from stage. Beyond the Mountain is a Christian rock festival with bands like Guardian, Whitecross, Tourniquet, Sacred Warrior playing over a couple of days. Jericho is a fan of several of these bands and expressed interest in attending the concert after being told about it by Jamie Rowe of Guardian at a recent WWE event in Illinois. Check www.beyondthemountain.com for more info and to buy your tickets.
Thanks to Nick Cramutola for the following:
I was on CNN.com yesterday, and in the Money Magazine area of the website was a Stock Spotlight article on the WWE. Some highlights from the article include quotes saying the WWE “may be a safe investment in these tumultuous times in the market,” and “what the WWE really needs is a big new star to reel in viewers and spark a trickle-down effect,” (you think?). The article also makes mention of WWE’s upcoming return to the USA Network, “where it was much more popular than it's been since moving to Spike TV in September 2000.” All in all, the article described the stock as “a conservative buy for longer-term investors.” To read the complete article, visit money.cnn.com.
