Booker T and his brother Stevie Ray will be holding an autograph session this Saturday to promote their new wrestling school, according to Houston Chronicle. Booker T mentioned on the Houston Chronicle that he'll be teaching several days a week while Ray will be running the day to day operations of the school.
The Thunder Bay Chronicle Journal in Canada has an article regarding WWE developmental star Melissa Coates, who was featured in the Chris Masters challenge segment at the Backlash PPV last month. Melissa Coates claims in the article that she just happened to be in the crowd when Masters picked her for the spot.
On Lance Storm’s website, now has section specifically for his new wrestling school, which will open after he leaves World Wrestling Entertainment this July. The section features quotes from a number of those in WWE regarding Lance Storm, including Chris Jericho and Hurricane Helms.
Former WWF Tag Team champions Bret Hart and Jim Neidhart will be reuniting on the July 22 event in Ciociaro Club in Windsor, Ontario Canada with Border City Wrestling's Wrestlefest '05.
Mick Foley is scheduled to appear at the Staten Island Yankees game on July 21 for an autograph session.
Hulk Hogan was visible all night last night during The Contender live finals on NBC, sitting in the third row. Of course, Hogan and Sylvester Stallone are friends, as Stallone just recently inducted Hogan into the WWE Hall of Fame.
Kurt Angle will be signing autographs on Friday at 6:00PM at the Pittsburgh Sports and Fitness Festival at ExpoMart in Monroeville.
Reviews continue to come in on "The Longest Yard" positive, despite initial negative reviews. Bob Sapp seems to be the standout of the wrestlers in the movie, despite Kevin Nash's claims of "stealing the show" during filming. However, some that have seen the movie said Nash did well with his role.
Speaking of the movie "The Longest Yard", both the E! channel and MTV 2 have specials about the making of the movie. The E! special airs at 8:30AM and 3:30PM, and the MTV 2 special airs at 7:30PM.
An old episode of Nash Bridges featuring a special role from "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, who appeared on the series a couple of times, airs tonight at 1:00AM on the USA Network.
