Although their announcement that he has been released has been pulled from WWE's website, PWInsider.com can confirm that Tajiri will be finishing up this coming Monday in Boston, MA at the Monday Night Raw taping.
Tajiri approached WWE management asking for his release, so it's not a situation where he's being dropped by the company. Tajiri, who had signed a new three year deal, is said he's burned out from the schedule and wants to take a break. He's planning to move his family back to Japan as he'd like pursue some writing endeavors there.
Tajiri will have the standard 90 day no compete that comes with a WWE release. I haven't heard if he wants to work outside of WWE here, but there's certainly interest by several on the indy scene in using him if Tajiri is interested.

Well, I can't say I'm surprised, I really liked him. But Oh well....

That's too bad. Tajiri is a good wrestler. Wish he could have been used more in the cw division.
