Glory By Honor V Results

Ring of Honor kicked off Glory By Honor V weekend on Friday night in East Windsor, CT. Results saw:
1) Dunn & Marcos defeated Rhett Titus & Pelle Primeau. After the match Chris Hero & Claudio Castagnoli crashed the show and hit the ring. They said they would go through every tag team in ROH and challenged Dunn & Marcos to an impromptu match.
2) Hero & Castagnoli defeated Dunn & Marcos with their devastating KRS-1 finisher.
3) Jack Evans won a Four Corner Survival that included Jimmy Jacobs, Colt Cabana and Ricky Reyes. Cabana and Jacobs tried to work together at Lacey's request, but Evans scored the pin on Jacobs after miscommunication with Cabana.
4) Nigel McGuinness defeated Christopher Daniels
5) Austin Aries defeated Davey Richards
6) Delirious defeated Shane Hagadorn
7) Samoa Joe defeated Roderick Strong in an incredible match.
8) KENTA & Naomichi Marafuji defeated Jay & Mark Briscoe in another stellar match when KENTA hit Go To Sleep on Mark.
Glory By Honor V weekend concluded on Saturday night at the Manhattan Center in New York City in front of a sold out crowd. Results saw:
1) Davey Richards defeated Jack Evans in a hot opener.
2) There was a special ceremony for Bruno Sammartino, which saw the locker room surround the ringside area. Sammartino gave an incredible speech from the heart to a huge response from the crowd. After Sammartino left the wrestlers from around ringside began to file out. Samoa Joe and Takeshi Morishima butted heads on the way down the aisle way and started to brawl. They were seperated by the entire locker room.
3) Adam Pearce defeated Delirious when Shane Hagadorn came to ringside and hit Delirious with brass knuckles. After the match, Pearce introduced Hagadorn as his personal man servant.
4) Jimmy Jacobs won a three-way over Colt Cabana and Christopher Daniels. Jacobs pinned Cabana following a low blow.
5) ROH Commissioner Jim Cornette announced that Homicide would get a World Title shot on 12/23 when ROH returns to the Manhattan Center if his team was able to win tonight's match. Cornette said that if Homicide's team didn't win, then Homicide would get a title match next
year. However, Homicide said he would leave ROH at the end of this year if he didn't win a belt.
6) Homicide & Samoa Joe defeated Jay & Mark Briscoe. Cornette came out after the match and said Homicide would get his shot on 12/23, but first he would have to make it to 12/23.
7) Chris Hero & Claudio Castagnoli defeated Austin Aries & Roderick Strong to WIN THE ROH WORLD TAG TEAM TITLES. Castagnoli hit Aries in his already injured ribs with his Haliburton leading to the KRS-1. Aries needed help to the back after the match.
8) Naomichi Marufuji defeated Nigel McGuinness to retain the GHC Heavyweight Title.
9) Bryan Danielson defeated KENTA to retain the ROH World Title.
